11/30/2006 學習語言與身份認同N年前的大學畢業論文是研究香港七十年代出生的人對香港的身份認同，我用訪問的形式訪問了十位當時的青年人。大部份(99%)都認為自己是香港人但同時是中國人(一早預料到的答案，好騎牆!
 )Hongkongers = Chinese, they are independent but not exclusive。但來到法國後，無論是認識的台灣人或是看到的台灣人網站，都令我感到台灣人不一定認為自己是中國人 Taiwanese ?/ x = Chinese, they are independent，好多時佢地會堅持自己是台灣人的身份。其實很多老外都不能分辨亞洲人的身份及樣貌，這一點我都好理解，因為我都分辨唔到誰是法國人誰是德國人。每次認識新朋友(老外)而同時有中國或台灣的同學們在場，我都要向佢地解釋因為我在香港生活，我只識講廣東話，我不太會講普通話(雖然我在國外成日都要講普通話!
 )，但又好似不是一個合理的理由，很多時都唔想講太多，費事D老外steorotype所有香港人都唔識講普通話。因為我的老外同學們一般都認為中國人是會講普通話，點解你係中國人但唔識講普通話。事實上我都唔想! 我成日想如果我有下一代，頭十年我想佢在內地讀書(以普通話學習，但不要接受共產主義論理教育，因為太空泛我唔識教，可能佢要反過來教我  。)其後要到英語國家升初中，而同時希望佢選一至兩種歐洲語言來學習。大學時佢可以選任何一個地方去讀書。基本上，學習任何一種語言，有良好的基礎是好重要。但學習中文的寫同讀一段需要花比較長的時間，故此在幼兒階段應先學習中文，其後要學習英文，因為這是一種十分普遍的世界語言，唔識就好難同其他人溝通(在班中不同國籍的老外同學，一上、下課或講肖肖話時就講英文，老師都覺得好無奈，而班中的中國同學們一般都比較靜很少主動溝通。)，另一方面，如果在初中階段能學習一至兩種歐洲語言，日後就能擴展視野，而且一般的歐洲語言(例如:法文)在文法及讀音上遠比學習英文需要花更長的時間。廣東話我可以在家教佢，不成問題。我好唔好轉讀幼兒教育? For the 1st sentence, I guess it means "someone is able to use local language to say at least one sentence" 2nd sentence, scaling Everest means "measuring Mt. Everest" Mount Everest is the highest mountain in the world, so if you try to measure it, it would be a very difficult job, it would discourage(daunt) people from doing that. Indeed, I don't think that person realize the situation in HK (Is she referring to HK)? This is just something too ordinary here. But the basic thing is, we can still communicate with foreigners. There are more and more people learning English, especially making use of the fund from the government. And, I believe that we can learn it bit by bit and getting improve day by day.

在香港這個繁華大都會中生活，有D嘢老外係唔會明白的。 My English is poor! I am sorry, just quoted a passage by someone, because I don't understand some words/ phrases in blue. If someone knows what that meant, please give me a reply. I am not only like to learn French and Mandarin, but I am also keen on learning English!
1) "I don't mean this in any critical way at all, but it just strikes me as really odd how people can live somewhere for 10, 20 years (and maybe even call that place 'home'?) and still cannot put together a full sentence in the local language. Would life not be much more enriching if you could fully participate in the loca l culture at all levels? And then some people go on to say they feel alienated by local behaviour??? I know learning Chinese is like scaling Everest, pretty daunting stuff to an expat, but step by step, I'm sure you can get there eventually, or at least gain huge respect and friendliness with your efforts, however good or less than perfect.

As for not speaking it well... it all depends but as a whole I would say it is far from bad (同意)(Agree!)(je suis d'accord!) ...even "ppl from the street" (try to ask "ppl from the street" in your home country to see whether they speak another language....and we will see)" Frankly, I am agree with the following statement, it sounds to be more acceptable . "Don't get stuck in this language thing, what language you speak dosen't make you any superior or lower to the others what you do" I am agree my English is poor but I am eager to learn!

11/24/2006 Sergio Castellitto自今年世界盃法國敗於意大利腳下，我就不喜歡意大利了，而且對這個國家了解都不多。但八月時認識了一些意大利同學，又感覺佢地都幾友善，而且好懷念佢地廚的意大利pasta，真係好好味。近期我於網上找到一部意大利電影，深深被宣傳片中的音樂吸引，這部戲的意大利片名是"Non Ti Muovere"，法文片名是"à Corps Perdus"而美國的片名是"Don't move"，套戲我想會租/買來看，導演及男主角同是Sergio Castellitto，佢被評為意大利近十年來最出色的演員。這套電影是改編自佢老婆Margaret Mazzantini的小說(我估成本應該可以好低)。對於香港人來說，Sergio Castellitto較為令人熟悉的作品應該是在電影"Mostly Martha"，中文繹名 "美味關係"中的演出，他就是那個" 單 純 小 男 人 ， 良 善 、 開 朗 。 熱 愛 食 物 ， 熱 愛 生 命 ， 捲 起 意 大 利 麵 ， 也 捲 來 了 絲 絲 愛 情 。"的意大利廚師。我記得當年係Jill jill同學提議去看，這套影片比我預期中好看，最後又買來DVD回家珍藏。

11/23/2006 TodayToday morning, I raised some questions in my class, the question were very simple, but I have felt that one classmate from China, he didn't think so. He told me that my questions would let the Amercian classmates looked down on us. What a big deal? Are we living in the beginning of the 20th century? I don't think my questions had something wrong, I don't think that my questions would insult of Chinese. I am so tired to learn French in here, although the facilities are better than my previous school in Toulouse. He is the same one who told me that paying 39 euros monthly for renting a portable service is not expensive. I don't want to sterotype of the new generation in China, but some of them are very arrogant. Their personalities have something negative.
My uncle seven and aunt seven also have one child, he is called himmy. Himmy is a nine years old boy, but he is so generous to others, I think his parents has given him many teaching. As his BIG sister, I expect he can develop more positive personalities, such as to learn share with others, repect the other's thinking, pay more concerns to his family and the community etc.

11/19/2006 愈來愈似模似樣 (xyxz???) 「八大高手」齊撐何志平 (明報) 11月 19日 星期日 05:05AM 【明報專訊】何志平(相關新聞 - 網站)每年一度搞「亞洲文化合作論壇」（ACCF），愈來愈似模似樣 (xyxz???)，上個星期日佢仲響閉幕演講入邊宣布︰出年的論壇將提前4個月舉行，由11月搬到7月，以便隆重慶祝香港回歸十周年。 咁偉大的心願，真係聞者落淚、祝佢好運！(係同佢工作的同事慘D!又少咗D時間策劃，不過有外判公司幫手，無所謂啦! 政府大把錢。) 肥何局長呢兩年搞文化活動，逐漸改變以前閉門作風，開始中門大開(少少)，廣跟各路英雄合作，好明顯係向「民間主導」路線靠攏。就好似今年ACCF，其中一個重頭活動係找榮念曾做策劃，大家都知道Danny 不嬲都係直言重炮，經常批評民政局冇文化政策，因此雙方成日面左左。但依家民政局主動搵Danny合作，可見係前嫌已消，願意齊齊替特區文化盡力做。此乃好事，值得陸鈞鼓掌。 此外，原來肥何局長又搵咗8位文化界大哥大、大姐大擔任策劃，搞咗套叫做「香港點滴的書，每本書由不同的學者做主編，邀請各路英雄撰稿，深入剖析香港社會眾生相。陸鈞聞說，呢套書目前已經出版咗兩冊，一本叫做《多點顏色》，由浸大教授羅貴祥執筆，專談香港少數族裔問題。另一本叫做……弊，陸鈞忽然唔係好記得，等收到風後再同各位報告，依家只記得全套書共有10本，出完中文版，仲有英文版。 8位大哥大姐係乜水？犀利啦，聽住啦：林在山、梁文道、文潔華、也斯、吳俊雄、李偉民、何慶基、劉細良(相關新聞 - 網站)。係唔係好勁呢？
點解局長唔請埋果八位主持論壇呀?佢地的書我自讀大學的時代已開始買，書櫃內有關文化討論的書籍有接近7成係由佢地主編或撰稿，為何又係請埋D國家代表、社團代表、公司總監、教授，好boring! 講文化工業、文化政策為何唔請埋無記的方女士、陳先生、生果報的老闆、陳主教，重有我的至愛軟天師，個論壇完全係造show，只賴以小眾(老闆、高層)討論，欠缺前線文化討論者的參與(好似無請果8位大哥大姐 )，吸引力大減(初時重以為今年個文化論壇好勁，因為可以請到佢地八位「江湖中人參與討論，重以為今年自己沒有去看走寶添 - tant pis! 看完個網後才發覺原來又係同以前幾屆差不多，個心立時舒服咗好多，如果肥局長堅持攪落去，加少少、改少少就以為開放了社會的討論空間，自以為功德無量，收皮啦，簡直係浪費公帑，造show!) ---以上係一位小市民的意見，局長唔好唔開心，仍然可以好開心地吃你喜愛的chicken wing。 《多點顏色》 作者：羅貴祥 文／陸鈞
11/16/2006 中歐國際工商學院雖然媽媽成日擔心我嫁唔出，但嫁唔出又未必一定係我的問題，與其等運到，不如花些精力去做D自己認為有把握的事，例如讀書，其實我好似沒有停過，因為讀書令我可以認識不同的朋友，而且能夠滿足我的求知欲，生活又可以充實些(又可以說成有所寄予)。
之前老遠從Toulouse搬到Montpellier，係因為想取張證書才回香港，點知自己又沒用，進唔到Level III，但又要趕回香港考GMAT，因為無論考HEC,Paris或上海中歐國際工商學院都同樣重要。之前又沒有練習，年記大了，頭腦開始變得遲鈍。我好怕患上老人痴呆症，因為好怕唔記得所有曾經愛護我的親人及朋友(唔開心的事情，唔記得都吧)，所以我想訓練自己個腦要不停吸收新訊息，好似打mahjiang一樣，要多動腦筋，今年是我最後一年可以申請法國領事館的獎學金，但好似申請上海中歐國際工商學院的MBA課程好似沒有年齡上限，而且中國又發展緊，學費又平好多，又可以學普通話(有番D作為中國人的尊嚴)，現在重考慮緊好唔好留多半年取埋張證書才回香港(如果我不continue留係法國升學，其實張證書係沒有甚麼大用途，只係感覺完美一點。)，個心十五、十六，點好呢?

GENEVE (AFP) - La Chinoise Margaret Chan va prendre les rênes de l'Organisation mondiale de la santé (OMS) malgré les polémiques concernant le manque de transparence de la Chine ces dernières années à propos de la grippe aviaire, de la pneumonie atypique (Sras) ou du sida. Mme Chan a été confirmée jeudi, après avoir été désignée mercredi, au poste de directeur général par l'assemblée des 193 Etats membres réunie à Genève, a annoncé officiellement le président de l'assemblée, le ministre mozambicain de la santé Ivo Garrido.
Mme Chan, 59 ans, prendra ses fonctions le 4 janvier prochain pour un mandat qui s'achèvera le 30 juin 2012, a-t-il précisé. La candidate de la Chine a obtenu 150 voix sur 159 votants, a-t-on indiqué de source diplomatique.
Cette nomination survient alors que l'OMS a encore dénoncé la semaine dernière le manque de coopération et de transparence de la Chine dans sa gestion de la grippe aviaire, qui a fait 14 morts dans ce pays. "La situation en Chine est confuse, les informations sont contradictoires", a déclaré à l'AFP Julie Hall, une responsable de l'OMS à Pékin. "Nous ne savons vraiment pas combien de souches de virus il y a en Chine car le ministère chinois de l'Agriculture ne partage pas toutes les informations et que nous n'avons pas obtenu les échantillons que nous réclamons", a ajouté Mme Hall. La polémique survient après un autre différend entre l'OMS et Pékin à propos du Syndrome respiratoire aigu sévère (Sras), qui a fait 800 morts dans le monde en 2003, dont 349 en Chine. Le gouvernement chinois avait pendant six mois étouffé toute information sur le sujet, avant de reconnaître brutalement le 20 avril 2003 l'existence de l'épidémie dans le capitale, dont le maire avait dû démissionner, ainsi que le ministre de la Santé. Il est établi que l'épidémie a démarré fin 2002 dans le sud de la Chine, aux portes de Hong Kong, où Mme Chan était encore à la tête des services de santé. La presse hongkongaise lui avait alors reproché un manque de fermeté vis-à-vis de Pékin. Sa gestion de la crise avait ensuite été critiquée par un rapport officiel de l'ex-colonie britannique, où le Sras a fait 299 morts, mais Mme Chan, tout juste nommée à l'OMS, avait échappé à une sanction, à la différence de certains de ses anciens collègues. En ce qui concerne la grippe aviaire, l'OMS peine à se faire remettre des échantillons de virus prélevés sur des oiseaux trouvés morts en Chine. De tels échantillons pourraient permettre de faire progresser la recherche internationale sur un vaccin. Interrogée sur ce problème peu après sa nomination en juin 2005 au poste de responsable de la grippe pandémique à l'OMS, Mme Chan avait assuré qu'elle avait "bien fait comprendre" aux autorités chinoises "l'importance de partager ces échantillons". "Nos efforts (pour les obtenir) ne faibliront pas", avait-elle promis devant la presse. "Nous le devons au monde: il s'agit d'une question de sécurité sanitaire mondiale". La mauvaise volonté chinoise pourrait s'expliquer par l'ambition du pays de mettre au point son propre vaccin. En début d'année, le coordinateur des Nations unies pour la grippe aviaire, David Nabarro, a rapporté que les Chinois insistaient sur la notion de réciprocité. "Ils aimeraient apparemment avoir le sentiment que les autres pays qui ont des échantillons sont prêts à les échanger librement avec les chercheurs chinois", a-t-il rapporté. La nomination d'une Chinoise à la tête de l'OMS pourrait rassurer Pékin à cet égard et l'inciter à mieux partager ses recherches, a déclaré à l'AFP un haut fonctionnaire de l'OMS qui a requis l'anonymat. Certains experts de l'Onu soupçonnent par ailleurs Pékin de sous-estimer l'épidémie de sida sur son territoire, avertissant que le nombre de séropositifs pourrait passer à 10 millions en 2010, alors que le régime communiste n'en dénombre actuellement que 650.000. En 2001, Pékin avait fini par admettre tardivement le scandale de la contamination de paysans provoqués par le commerce du sang dans les années 1990, responsable de dizaines de milliers de morts.

11/5/2006 我的貧困生活今早聽收音機903聽到容祖兒的世上只有，我哭了，因為掛住媽咪，其實讀書可以返香港讀，心裏盤算著，我本來的計劃可能有些改變，但要打電話同大家姐商量吓先。媽媽年紀漸大，我實在不好意思再用佢的錢，但在法國我根本找不到工作，更何況我以前的工作根本無可能。早前祖母留給我的錢用得七七八八，要計劃吓何時返香港。真的不知道我的中國同學們為何可以留在法國讀五年，要用多少錢?我認為中國的一孩政策在某些方面得到一定的成效，例如在物質上的改善。有同學可以暑假返鄉留兩、三個月，有同學認為用39歐元一個月交電話費唔貴，重同我講小姐...這裡是法國呀!另一方面，我也認識一些刻苦耐勞的中國學生。但為何我的生活那麼貧困? 11/3/2006 不再啞忍肥仔愛型男 五度襲下體 (東方) 11月 03日 星期五 03:00AM

涉案男子姓蘇（二十歲），無案底，身材略胖及戴眼鏡，報稱在灣仔區一間食肆任職廚師，他是家中獨子，上有父母及一名姊姊。疑犯報稱無女友，對自己的性取向模糊不清，但較傾向喜歡男性。警方調查顯示，疑犯見到該名英俊男子便不能自控，心魔難除才花盡心機追纏受害人，有人承認兩度非禮該設計師，但警方懷疑他涉更多案件。 多次受辱的廿六歲設計師，身高約一點七五公尺，樣貌俊朗，皮膚白淨，愛穿波恤、牛仔褲，屬於「型男」一族。他居住灣仔區，每天乘搭地鐵往中環上班。案情透露，今年五月，疑犯乘地鐵上班，在灣仔站月台中間位置下車，與準備上車的設計師事主迎面相遇，被設計師的俊朗外形吸引。經過觀察，他發現設計師習慣在月台中間位置上車，故每朝均在同一位置下車，找機會與其身體接觸。消息稱，受害人多次在月台被人撫捏下體，但啞忍無報警，更刻意改乘其他車廂避之，但有人竟覷準他的必經之路，在月台的扶手電梯等候，發現事主蹤影，迎面趨前非禮，甚至「追住摸」，直至上月廿七日，受害人第五度被非禮，終鼓起勇氣報警，但色狼早已逃去。 不再啞忍 作餌擒人 警員根據受害人描述，過去一星期在灣仔地鐵站監視疑犯，但未有發現，遂改變策略「引狼出洞」。昨晨九時，鐵路警區港島線指揮官李國雄率領五名特遣隊便裝警員，與受害人一同到灣仔地鐵站，未幾目標男子下車，與受害人迎面相遇，受害人「點相」後立即通知警員，疑犯拔足逃走，但迅即被警員制服拘捕。有人承認涉及非禮，並反問警員：「呢種行為（非禮）會唔會坐監？」 11/2/2006 天氣開始轉冷
