    Dear Ms Placquet,

Except SOCIETE GENERALE, do you know other banks near the school or popular in France?

    Dear Ms. Placquet,

I still have some questions and solicit for your advice:

    (1) Do I need to bring my notebook when I studying in your school?
    (2) Do I need to type a lot of documents/papers?
    (3) Are there any computers for student to use?  Can it connect to the Internet?

If not, I will not buy a notebook instead I will just bring some paper or workbook, because buying a notebook is very expensive.

    Dear Fiona,

Many students do open an account here in France. I'm not sure which documents are required precisely but I would think your passeport + visa, a certificate from the school (I will  provide that), an accomodation certificate (to be asked to the residence/family you'll stay with), a statement of your account at home, and money!
Health insurance is compulsory in France, but if your HK insurance covers you, I don't see any reason why you should apply for a French one. Yes you'll need to bring the document to France.
Don't worry, I do understand your worries...and there's a French proverb saying : "there are no stupid questions, there are only stupid answers"!!

    Dear Ms Placquet,

Although I have visited Japan, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia  in the past few years, this is my first trip to Europe.  I am happy, excited but have a little bit worry for stay in a new environment for more than 14 days...ha..ha. When approach 30 years old, I think I need to do a BRAVE thing and take new adventure in my life.  I have posted some photos onto the Internet, please visit to http://spaces.msn.com/members/ru3ru3/

May I ask you to give me a favour.  I would like to know how to open a deposit account in a French bank, e.g. SOCIETE GENERALE.  What documents should I bring to there?  Is it very difficult for a foreigner (from Hong Kong) to open a deposit account?

Should I need to buy local insurance when I stay in France?  I have bought one in Hong Kong, should I need to bring the document to France?

aaa...you may think me is a stupid guy, but please help me I really need these information.
